How to place images in Content items? First of all you have to save the images in the image folder of the installation, not the template but this folder by default: example: C:\Program Files\JSAS\http_root\www\vancouvertransfer\images\stories They have to go into the images\stories folder and then you can add a name to make it easy like this
C:\Program Files\JSAS\http_root\www\vancouvertransfer\images\stories\movingpictures
Then when in the content submission pane in the back end click on "insert image", little icon on the bottom left of the input text box. This will create a "mosimage" code. Then you have to go choose the image from the images tab in the "Gallery Images", click on it and add it to "content images" You can then adjust parameters such as Alt tags and description, alignment ect. The alignment actually works surprisingly well! When done click save or apply on top, not on the bottom, the apply on the bottom doesn't work. What about from JSAS to Online? This is what you need to do: Save the images in the: C:\Program Files\JSAS\http_root\www\vancouvertransfer\images\stories folder, then FTP the whole new folder to the online servev. Create you content with JSAS and the mosimage tag offline and then export the sql file. The position of the image and the image itself will appear online with the same layout as JSAS, just make sure to FTP and SQL
Here is some additional information on image handling: Just make a folder and enter the URL manually, it works better than media manager. Once the image is inserted in the content item, you can USE Wysiwyg to edit the positioning, alt tags and picture size. |
