The best way to configure the email, print and PDF icons in Joomla

Sometimes after playing with the configuration file settings the email, print and PDF icons disappear and this ugly text that doesn't line up properly shows up..

First go into global configuration. There you disable showing of the email, PDF and print icons, one by one. However, and this is the trick, you must enable show icons, the field with the blue exclamation point next to it.

With this settings all your Joomla content items will show without the email. PDF and print icons by default. If you wish to turn them on afterwards you do it one by one by content items.
